Why Sculpture?

I am a sculptor working primarily in metal, though I work with various species of wood and reclaimed materials.  I have bachelors degrees from Bates College in Fine Art and Brooks Institute in Commercial Illustration.  My first large structure was a horse bridge I built as an Eagle Scout service project when I was 17.

My current work consists of commissioned sculptures and furniture.  I work with clients to combine my style with their ideas.
